The Royal Purple ’99 Firebird Pro Touring-LSR Race Car
This ‘Build’ is dedicated to the home shop builder, the gals and guys who have a passion for car building, not just buying that special car they have always dreamed of. You can build that dream car on a set budget, using only the best parts available from the aftermarket industry.
Follow along with details and pictures from the beginning to the now nearing completion of this special car. We chose a late model car for its updated technology, but this applies to any age car you might decide upon.
Similar to our first ‘Build’, our ’69 El Camino, the Firebird would be called ‘Pro Touring-Pro Street’ to most, however, the capability of 200 MPH speeds at Land Speed Racing events takes it to a different level.
It’s important that we highlight the parts used in this build, as our sponsors have made all of this possible.
